Ashley Young just can't get enough. The 38-year-old full-back signed a one-year contract with Everton on Thursday and is heading into his seventeenth season in the Premier League.
Young's contract at Aston Villa ended this summer and he's reuniting with Sean Dyche at Everton. In the autumn of his active career, the 52-year-old manager wore the captain's armband at Watford, where Young was making his breakthrough at the time. In total, both men played 25 matches together for The Hornets.
Young launched his career at Vicarage Road and subsequently wore the shirts of Aston Villa, Manchester United, Internazionale, and Villa again. Everton Stats Fixtures Results Predictions will be Young's fifth club, where he hopes to add much-needed experience at Goodison Park.
Fitter than ever
'I have always said that age is just a number for me,' Young says on Everton's club website. 'I feel fitter than ever. If the manager needs me, I am ready. I want to use my experience to help the team. I've been there, I know what it's like. If I can help younger players with that, it's fantastic.
