Noa Lang is too good for the Eredivisie, according to Eljero Elia. The PSV player continued to shine against Almere City.
Lang already has three goals and one assist in four Eredivisie matches, and he is proving to be indispensable for PSV. The expectations are sky-high. 'That's because of how he presents himself and what he said at Club Brugge. He wanted to go abroad but ended up at PSV to take the step to the top,' Elia said on Goedemorgen Eredivisie.
'I think the Eredivisie is too easy for him. He should have gone to a mid-table club, a team slightly better than Club Brugge, like Benfica or something, and then make the move. PSV is just a top club that has produced enough players for the absolute top or just below it. I'm a fan of Noa, the kind of player I like. Noa is Noa, a player from whom you can expect anything, and he delivers and is important. Before he came to PSV, people were critical, but in the end, he just does it. He lets his feet do the talking,' Elia added.
Elia doesn't see Lang's involvement in the music world nowadays as a problem. 'It's a side issue, not necessary, but you have plenty of time as a footballer. You're often done by one or two o'clock, and then you still have the whole day.'
